Hydrosols

Hydrosols (also called floral waters, distillates, or hydrolats) are the aromatic waters produced during the steam distillation of plant material, the same process used to extract essential oils.

When a plant is distilled:

Hydrosol is the water portion that carries the plant’s water‑soluble aromatic molecules and energetic imprint
