First up is the wood element, colour green, represents from birth to young adulthood, creative and adaptable, season/spring, climate/wind, odor/rancid, taste/sour, emotion/anger, sound/shouting, fortifies ligaments and worldview/ intuitive or projective.
Second is the fire element, colour red, represents our middle aged years, passion and energy, season/summer, climate/heat, odor/schorched, taste/bitter, emotion/joy, sound/laughing, fortifies arteries and literal/mythic worldviews.
Third is the earth element, colour yellow, represents late adulthood/reliable and practical/stability), season late summer, climate/humiditity, odor fragrant, taste/sweet, emotion/sympathy, sound/singing, fortifies/muscles, conventional worldview.
Fourth is the metal element, colour white, represents our senior years/balanced/analitical and principled outlook, season/autumn, climate/dryness, odor/rotten, taste/pungent, emotion/grief, sound/weeping, fortifies/skin & hair and a responsible worldview.
Fifth element is water, colour blue, represents advanced years/nuturting and harmonious, season/winter, climate/cold, odor/putrid, taste/salty, emotion/fear, sound/groaning, fortifies/bones, universal worldview.
